The Long Beach Mobile ArtSpace will transform vacant lots within Long Beach into temporary venues. Designed for maximum flexibility, the ArtSpace appears as an enigmatic black box with a helium filled beacon, and unfolds into a cruciform stage that can be configured to accommodate a broad range of programming. Stages will assist Formation Association, who won the AIA Los Angeles Citation Award in 2011 for their design, with theatre planning, acoustics and audio visual design in the fruition of their unique venue.
