DAMIAN DORIA

Before joining Alec Stoll in founding Stages, Damian Doria was one of three partners at Artec Consultants, where he was engaged for over 17 years. Damian served many roles, including Principal Auditorium Designer and Principal Acoustician. He also served for 10 years as President of the company.

Working alongside Artec’s Founding Chairman, Russell Johnson, Damian was privileged to assist in development of designs for the Concert Hall in Lucerne, Switzerland; Sala Sao Paulo, Brazil; and the Arsht Center in Miami, FL. He played key roles in the conceptualization and realization of Artec’s designs for Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall Acoustic Enhancement Project, and Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York, NY. Damian led the designs for the Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall in Costa Mesa, CA; The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, IN; Harpa, Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre, Iceland.

The result of his work far exceeded our highest expectations...one of the best performance venues available today.

Steinunn Birna Ragnarsdottir, Music Director of HARPA
